पञ्चीकृतेभ्यो भूतेभ्यः स्थूलेभ्यः पूर्वकर्मणा । समुत्पन्नमिदं स्थूलं भोगायतनमात्मनः । अवस्था जागरस्तस्य स्थूलार्थानुभवो यतः ॥
pañcīkṛtebhyo bhūtebhyaḥ sthūlebhyaḥ pūrvakarmaṇā | samutpannamidaṃ sthūlaṃ bhogāyatanamātmanaḥ | avasthā jāgarastasya sthūlārthānubhavo yataḥ ||
Born through past karma from the compounded gross elements, this gross body is the dwelling in which the Self has its experiences. Its state is waking, because in it gross objects are experienced.
पूर्व कर्म से पंचीकृत स्थूल भूतों से उत्पन्न यह स्थूल शरीर आत्मा के भोग का घर है। इसकी अवस्था जाग्रत है, क्योंकि इसमें स्थूल विषयों का अनुभव होता है।
