दिवसेनैव तत्कुर्याद्येन रात्रौ सुखं वसेत् । अष्टमासेन तत्कुर्याद्येन वर्षाः सुखं वसेत् ॥
divasenaiva tatkuryādyena rātrau sukhaṃ vaset | aṣṭamāsena tatkuryādyena varṣāḥ sukhaṃ vaset ||
By day one should do that by which one may live at ease at night. In the eight months one should do that by which one may live at ease in the rainy season.
दिन में वह काम कर लेना चाहिए जिससे रात सुख से बीते। आठ महीनों में वह कर लेना चाहिए जिससे वर्षा के चार महीने सुख से बीतें।
