अनिज्ययाविवाहैश्च वेदस्योत्सादनेन च । कुलान्यकुलतां यान्ति धर्मस्यातिक्रमेण च ॥
anijyayāvivāhaiśca vedasyotsādanena ca | kulānyakulatāṃ yānti dharmasyātikrameṇa ca ||
By neglect of worship, by improper marriages, by abandoning the Veda and by transgressing dharma, families sink into ignobility.
यज्ञ-पूजन न करने से, अनुचित विवाहों से, वेद का त्याग करने से और धर्म का उल्लंघन करने से कुल अकुल (हीन) हो जाते हैं।
