5.40 Vidura to Dhritarashtra

tava putraśataṃ caiva karṇaḥ pañca ca pāṇḍavāḥ | pṛthivīmanuśāseyurakhilāṃ sāgarāmbarām ||

Your hundred sons, Karna and the five Pandavas together could rule the entire earth, clothed by the ocean.

Meaning today and context

A divided family wastes its strength fighting itself; united, the same people could achieve far more than either side alone.

Vidura paints the alternative: united, the Kauravas, Karna and the Pandavas could rule the whole earth.
