स्नात्वा गाङ्गैः पयोभिः शुचि-कुसुम-फलैरर्चयित्वा विभो त्वा । ध्येये ध्यानं निवेश्य क्षिति-धर-कुहर-ग्राव-पर्यङ्क-मूले । आत्मारामः फलाशी गुरु-वचन-रतस्त्वत्-प्रसादात्स्मरारे । दुःखं मोक्ष्ये कदाहं सम-कर-चरणे पुंसि सेवासमुत्थम् ॥

Having bathed in the waters of the Ganga and worshipped you, Lord, with pure flowers and fruits, fixing my meditation on the one to be meditated on, at the foot of a rock-couch in a mountain cave, content in the Self, living on fruit, devoted to my teacher's words: when, by your grace, O enemy of Kama, shall I be freed from the misery born of serving a man whose hands and feet are just like mine?
