वृत्तिसारूप्यमितरत्र ॥

At other times, [the seer] takes on the form of the movements [of the mind].

Most of the time we identify with whatever is passing through the mind: 'I am angry', 'I am a failure'. Seeing that these are movements of the mind, not who you are, already loosens their grip.
ज़्यादातर समय हम मन में चल रही बात से ही अपनी पहचान बना लेते हैं: 'मैं गुस्सा हूँ', 'मैं नाकाम हूँ'। यह देख लेना कि ये मन की हलचलें हैं, आप स्वयं नहीं, उनकी पकड़ ढीली कर देता है।
