Yoga Sutras of Patanjali 3.40

3.40 Patanjali

samānajayājjvalanam ||

By mastery of samāna [the central vital air], radiance.

This sūtra states what the text claims follows from saṃyama; it is not a feat to attempt or test, and it proves nothing about anyone. Be wary of anyone who sells, demonstrates or promises such powers, or asks for money or obedience in return. Patanjali himself calls these powers obstacles to samādhi (3.37).

This is the text's claim. A 'glow' is not evidence of anyone's spiritual standing.

Part of the list of powers (vibhūti) that Patanjali says follow from saṃyama.
