जातिदेशकालव्यवहितानामप्यानन्तर्यं स्मृतिसंस्कारयोरेकरूपत्वात् ॥
jātideśakālavyavahitānāmapyānantaryaṃ smṛtisaṃskārayorekarūpatvāt ||
Even when separated by birth, place and time, [vāsanās] follow in unbroken sequence, because memory and impression (saṃskāra) are of one form.
