"Whoever reveres meditation as Brahman, as far as meditation reaches, so far he moves as he wishes." "Sir, is there anything greater than meditation?" "There is indeed something greater than meditation." "Then tell me that, sir."

Meaning today and context

Even meditation is a step, not the goal. It is valued for where it leads.

Chandogya 7.6.2: the fruit of revering meditation as Brahman; Nārada asks for what is greater than meditation.
