Chandogya Upanishad 8.4.2

8.4.2 Upanishadic seer

tasmādvā etaṃ setuṃ tīrtvā andhaḥ sannanandho bhavati | viddhaḥ sannaviddho bhavati | upatāpī sannanupatāpī bhavati | tasmādvā etaṃ setuṃ tīrtvā api naktamaharevābhiniṣpadyate | sakṛdvibhāto hyevaiṣa brahmalokaḥ ||

Therefore, having crossed this dam, one who is blind is no longer blind, one who is wounded is no longer wounded, one who is afflicted is no longer afflicted. Therefore, having crossed this dam, even night turns into day, for this world of Brahman is lit up once and for all.

This is about the Self, not a promise of physical healing. Keep seeing your doctor and continue treatment.

Meaning today and context

The body's injuries and limits belong to the body; the Self they cannot wound. For someone living with pain or disability, this can mean that who they are is not reduced by what the body suffers.

Chandogya 8.4.2: the teacher says that one who crosses this dam is no longer blind, wounded or afflicted, and night becomes day, for the world of Brahman is lit once and for all.
