पूर्व-जन्म-कृतं कर्म तद्दैवमिति कथ्यते । तस्मात्पुरुषकारेण यत्नं कुर्यादतन्द्रितः ॥
pūrva-janma-kṛtaṃ karma taddaivamiti kathyate | tasmātpuruṣakāreṇa yatnaṃ kuryādatandritaḥ ||
What is called fate is only the deeds done in a former life. Therefore one should strive with one's own effort, tirelessly.
