उत्साह-संपन्नमदीर्घ-सूत्रं क्रिया-विधिज्ञं व्यसनेष्वसक्तम् । शूरं कृतज्ञं दृढ-सौहृदं च लक्ष्मीः स्वयं वाञ्छति वास-हेतोः ॥
utsāha-saṃpannamadīrgha-sūtraṃ kriyā-vidhijñaṃ vyasaneṣvasaktam | śūraṃ kṛtajñaṃ dṛḍha-sauhṛdaṃ ca lakṣmīḥ svayaṃ vāñchati vāsa-hetoḥ ||
Full of energy, not given to delay, knowing how to get things done, not attached to vices, brave, grateful, and firm in friendship: Lakṣmī, goddess of fortune, herself seeks out such a person to dwell with.
