mitraṃ yāntu ca sajjanā janapadairlakṣmīḥ samālabhyatāṃ | bhūpālāḥ paripālayantu vasudhāṃ śaśvatsva-dharme sthitāḥ | āstāṃ mānasa-tuṣṭaye sukṛtināṃ nītirnavoḍheva vaḥ | kalyāṇaṃ kurutāṃ janasya bhagavāṃścandrārdha-cūḍāmaṇiḥ ||

May good people find friendship, may the people of the land gain prosperity, may kings protect the earth, ever established in their own duty; may this nīti delight the minds of the virtuous among you like a new bride; and may the Lord who wears the crescent moon as his crest-jewel (Śiva) bring welfare to all people.
