कर्मानुमेयाः सर्वत्र परोक्ष-गुण-वृत्तयः । तस्मात्परोक्ष-वृत्तीनां फलैः कर्म विभावयेत् ॥
karmānumeyāḥ sarvatra parokṣa-guṇa-vṛttayaḥ | tasmātparokṣa-vṛttīnāṃ phalaiḥ karma vibhāvayet ||
Everywhere, qualities and conduct that are hidden from view must be inferred from deeds. So judge the work of those whose ways are hidden by its results.
