उर्वीमुद्दाम-सस्यां जनयतु विसृजन्वासवो वृष्टिमिष्टामिष्टैस्त्रैविष्टपानां विदधतु विधिवत्प्रीणनं विप्र-मुख्याः । आकल्पान्तं च भूयात्स्थिर-समुपचिता सङ्गतिः सज्जनानां निःशेषं यान्तु शान्तिं पिशुन-जन-गिरो दुःसहा वज्र-लेपाः ॥
urvīmuddāma-sasyāṃ janayatu visṛjanvāsavo vṛṣṭimiṣṭāmiṣṭaistraiviṣṭapānāṃ vidadhatu vidhivatprīṇanaṃ vipra-mukhyāḥ | ākalpāntaṃ ca bhūyātsthira-samupacitā saṅgatiḥ sajjanānāṃ niḥśeṣaṃ yāntu śāntiṃ piśuna-jana-giro duḥsahā vajra-lepāḥ ||
May Indra, sending the rains desired, make the earth rich with abundant crops; may the foremost brahmins duly please the gods with sacrifices; may the company of the good, firm and growing, last until the end of the age; and may the cruel words of slanderers, hard to bear as a coat of thunderbolts, all fall utterly silent.
