From him are born the life-breath, the mind and all the senses, space, air, fire, water, and the earth that holds all things.

Meaning today and context

Our breath, mind and senses, and the elements of the world around us, all come from one source; inner and outer life are not two separate worlds.

Aṅgiras lists what arises from the Person (Mundaka 2.1.3): life-breath, mind, the senses and the five elements.
