kadā citpunarabhyetya punargacchanti saṃtatam | tyaktā mātṛpitṛbhyāṃ te na cākampata jājaliḥ ||
Sometimes they came back, and then went off again, over and over; their mother and father had left them. And Jajali did not stir.
