Overcome by resentment and wanting to see Tuladhara, the sage wandered the earth, O king, making his home wherever evening found him.
Meaning today and context
When we are told someone is better than us, the first reaction is often resentment. Jajali at least goes to see for himself, and that is where his learning begins.
Mahabharata 12.253.44. Bhishma: Jajali, resentful, travels the earth to find Tuladhara.
