अनुच्यमानाश्च पुनस्ते मन्यन्ते महाजनात् । गुणवत्तरमात्मानं स्वेन मानेन दर्पिताः ॥
anucyamānāśca punaste manyante mahājanāt | guṇavattaramātmānaṃ svena mānena darpitāḥ ||
And when no one answers them, they think themselves more virtuous than even the great, puffed up by their own conceit.
