अक्रोधनः क्रुध्यतां वै विशिष्टस्तथा तितिक्षुरतितिक्षोर्विशिष्टः । अमानुषान्मानुषो वै विशिष्टस्तथाज्ञानाज्ज्ञानवान्वै प्रधानः ॥
akrodhanaḥ krudhyatāṃ vai viśiṣṭastathā titikṣuratitikṣorviśiṣṭaḥ | amānuṣānmānuṣo vai viśiṣṭastathājñānājjñānavānvai pradhānaḥ ||
The one who does not get angry surpasses those who do; so too the patient surpasses the impatient. The truly human surpasses the inhuman, and likewise one who knows is foremost over ignorance.
