tejo damena dhriyate na tattīkṣṇo'dhigacchati | amitrāṃśca bahūnnityaṃ pṛthagātmani paśyati ||
Radiance is held by self-control; the harsh person does not attain it. And he always sees many enemies, standing apart from himself.
