Meaning today and context
You don't have to keep announcing your worth, nor eat yourself up when others don't notice it. Living honestly, not off what belongs to others or to sacred causes, is enough.
Sanatsujata continues the portrait of the quiet seeker: one who does not torment himself though he never advertises himself, and who does not live off sacred property; his food is approved by the good.
