श्रीः सुखस्येह संवासः सा चापि परिपन्थिनी । ब्राह्मी सुदुर्लभा श्रीर्हि प्रज्ञाहीनेन क्षत्रिय ॥
śrīḥ sukhasyeha saṃvāsaḥ sā cāpi paripanthinī | brāhmī sudurlabhā śrīrhi prajñāhīnena kṣatriya ||
Prosperity is the dwelling of happiness in this world, yet it is also a robber on the road. And the prosperity of Brahman is very hard to gain, O kshatriya, for one lacking wisdom.
समृद्धि इस लोक में सुख का निवास है, परंतु वही मार्ग का लुटेरा भी है। और हे क्षत्रिय, ब्रह्म की समृद्धि बुद्धिहीन के लिए अत्यंत दुर्लभ है।

धन और सुख-सुविधा सचमुच अच्छे हैं, पर वे हमारी दिशा भी छीन सकते हैं। समझ की गहरी संपदा तक पहुँचने के लिए प्रज्ञा चाहिए।
Sanatsujata says worldly prosperity is the home of happiness here but also a robber on the path; the higher prosperity of Brahman is very hard to gain for one without wisdom.
